Ronnie Wilkes
Ronnie Wilkes has spent 25 years doing one thing well — building custom homes across South Carolina. With more than 300 houses completed statewide, he brings a depth of hands-on experience that only comes from being present on every job site, through every phase of construction.
Ronnie started Wilkes Builders because he believed the homebuilding process should feel less like a transaction and more like a partnership — honest conversations up front, realistic timelines, and a finished product that reflects the way you actually live.
From Sumter to the coast, the Midlands to the Upstate — if it's in South Carolina, Ronnie has likely built there. Twenty-five years of reputation built project by project, referral by referral, and he intends to keep it that way.
Residential Construction Manager
Josh Wilkes
Josh Wilkes brings a sharp eye for detail and a deep understanding of the residential construction process from the ground up. As Residential Construction Manager at Wilkes Builders, Josh oversees day-to-day site operations — coordinating subcontractors, managing schedules, and making sure every phase of a build meets the standard the company is known for.
Josh's background in residential construction gives him a practical fluency with every trade involved in a custom home — from framing and mechanical rough-ins to finish carpentry and final punch lists. He's the person on the ground making sure the plan becomes reality, on time and on budget.

Eric Burnette
Eric Burnette brings a well-rounded construction background that spans both residential and commercial projects across South Carolina. As Commercial Construction Manager at Wilkes Builders, Eric leads the planning and execution of commercial builds — managing timelines, coordinating trades, and keeping projects on budget from groundbreaking to ribbon-cutting.
His residential experience gives Eric a homebuilder's instinct for quality and detail that carries directly into commercial work. Whether it's a custom home or a commercial facility, Eric holds every project to the same standard — built right, built to last, and delivered with minimal disruption to the client.
Site Superintendent
Tucker Burnette
Tucker Burnette serves as Site Superintendent at Wilkes Builders, working across both residential and commercial projects throughout South Carolina. On the job site every day, Tucker is responsible for keeping work moving — sequencing trades, enforcing quality standards, and making sure each phase of construction is completed correctly before the next one begins.
His experience across both sides of the business gives Tucker a versatile understanding of what it takes to deliver a finished project — whether that's a custom home or a commercial build. He brings energy, attention to detail, and a commitment to doing the job right the first time, every time.
